About the event
The MMC have leased this centuries old farmhouse since 1962 from two generations of the McKinnon family. In a tranquil location just above Llanberis, on the slopes of Moel Elio, we enjoy dark skies and views of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and the spectacular Clogwyn Du'r Arddu, Elidir Fawr and the Dinorwig slate quarries. This is a walk-in hut with car parking less than 200m from the door. There is excellent walking from Cae´r Frân and easy access to many of the most iconic climbing and mountaineering routes of Eryri (Snowdonia).
