October meet - Brackenbottom, Yorkshire

The Bradford Pothole Club’s Headquarters, Brackenbottom is a traditional Dales longhouse located in the hamlet of Brackenbottom, near Horton-in-Ribblesdale.

Known to members as ‘The Dump’ (a historical term dating from the ‘old days’ when the club only had a tackle dump in the Dales, not descriptive!) Brackenbottom provides an ideal base for caving and other outdoor activities in the Dales. The footpath up Penyghent starts just outside the door.
