The weather could not have been better for our meet in May. Star Cottage is on a hillside overlooking Two Dales village just north of Matlock

Some members walked to Matlock on the Friday passing under the cable car to the Heights of Abraham

Saturday was a chance for our intrepid Chairman, Rod to climb,

after which he contemplated becoming a hermit at Robin Hoods Stride

but beer and the National Trust in Winster prevailed
